Navajo made from the Navajo Nation. This incredible pot was entirely hand coiled from clays gather from the earth. The artist intricately hand painted this one with traditional designs, a butterfly, a bird, and a cornstalk using naturally created colors. This impressive work of art is highly collectible. I've never seen one like this before. It is 5-1/4" tall, 5" wide, it has a circumference of 18", and it has a 1/4" wide opening. This is for decorative purposes only. It is signed on the bottom within the arrowhead image by the Navajo artist IIN. Don't let this once in a lifetime opportunity pass you by!!! The Dine' People are a unique group of people still living the traditional life with many oral stories passed down to the younger generation through the Dine' language. The Navajo people have returned to their original name given to them by their holy people. The Dine' land (aka Navajo reservation) on top of Oak Creek Canyon is the largest reservation established for the Dine', covering about 25,000 sq. miles of land, which is located in the Southwest in parts of Arizona, Utah, New Mexico, and Colorado. The Dine' People believe they live within the Four Sacred Mountains. This pottery is authentic hand crafted Indian art created by an artist who is truly a member of a Native American tribe. So, to ensure you that this is authentic, a Certificate of Authenticity has been included with this item. |
