This is a true work of art. This is a fine example of Navajo Indian pottery. It is gorgeous with hand painted pueblo designs. It has been dressed with a genuine Turquoise nugget and some genuine feathers for a touch of natural character. This pottery was made in the Four Corners region. This sensational wedding vase is approximately 8-1/2" tall, 6" wide, 17-1/2" in circumference, and it has a pair of 1-1/4" wide openings. Due to the hand crafted nature of this item, some variations may occur from piece to piece. The photo is an excellent representation of the one of a kind hand crafted pot you'll receive. The Dine' People are a unique group of people still living the traditional life with many oral stories passed down to the younger generation through the Dine' language. The Navajo people have returned to their original name given to them by their holy people. The Dine' land (aka Navajo reservation) on top of Oak Creek Canyon is the largest reservation established for the Dine', covering about 25,000 sq. miles of land, which is located in the Southwest in parts of Arizona, Utah, New Mexico, and Colorado. The Dine' People believe they live within the Four Sacred Mountains. |
