Native American Rawhide Stone Tomahawk with Arrowhead Signed by Navajo artist Goldtooth.

This impressive traditional Tomahawk measures 15" from the head to the end of the handle. The shaft is wrapped in soaked rawhide and accented with contrasting feathers, fur and an arrowhead. The stone head is securely attached to the top. This artifact would make a fabulous gift. It is attractive in any setting and has the artistic character to stand alone or compliment similar pieces of collected works. Stone and feathers may vary slightly from piece to piece. You'll be getting one from the group of hand made Native American Tomahawks pictured below. Made by Navajo artist Richard Phillips

The objects man makes are called artifacts, and every artifact, whether it is beautiful or ugly, crude or refined, utilitarian or ceremonial, is a reflection and product of man's skills, his techniques, his arts. Artifacts reflect the ideas, the concepts, and the knowledge acquired or learned as a member of a tribe.
