Removing Wax From TableclothsFirst, apply ice to the wax to harden it. Scrape off as much as you can with a butterknife or laminated card. Next, use an iron and some paper towels or clean paper bags. Place one towel under the fabric and another one on top of the wax. On medium high heat, gently iron the area until the wax transfers onto the towel or bag. Remove the paper towel and replace with another, continue ironing. Repeat until you have removed all of the wax. If a colored candle leaves a stain, pretreat the stain and wash as soon as possible. |
